Azura World Cruise? – Updated

In 2013 & 2014 at least apparently. This is quite a turn around for P&O fly cruises to the Caribbean. Currently we have Arcadia & Aurora gone plus Artemis on her final Far East jaunt. Oriana had one between September-December so doing a couple of jollies to the Caribbean & US for just over a month while Oceana, Azura & Ventura are in the Caribbean on fly cruises. Next January, Oceana does that sending Oriana back around the world with Arcadia & Aurora. Adonia does South America leaving just Azura & Ventura in the Caribbean. So with one of those zipping around the world, where does that leave fly cruising and how many are going around the world?

Meanwhile in Cunardland, things are pretty much the same, although QV is making a return to Sydney in 2013 so back on the worldies? Mary is listed a couple of times calling at Sydney so is she doing the same as next year?

We’ll find out later this year when they release the itineraries but it’s quite exciting knowing another ship doesn’t bugger for 5-6 months in October! Meanwhile there are videos to enjoy from this year’s lovely six ships from the 5th January.

Journalist, Steve Read has a great report dock side and from onboard four of the six (with a little help from yours truly)

And mine

All quiet on the shippy front for me until April although we are having several calls over the next two months from Independence of the Seas, Oriana and Boudicca doing their winter season which at least is something until the others begin to return in March.

Update 27th January 2011: P&O have announced Azura’s world cruise is off and she’ll be going back to the Caribbean. No news on replacement cruises yet.

Update 27th January 2012: P&O announced the world cruise was cancelled and she would head to the Caribbean but not when.
