MSC Opera Cruise – Flam to Bergen

After lunch I went ashore and just wandered around to get photos of the ship. It was a gloriously hot day, about 24c, which was fabulous! We’d been lucky with the weather so far.

Sailaway was 7pm and Seven Seas Voyager went first, since she just had to raise her anchor. It began to get windy as we left the shelter of the port.

It was Italian night in the restaurant and they still couldn’t be arsed with my dietary requirement. My feet don’t ballon, have red blotches and become infected if I’m getting minimal or no salt so I know they’ve given me a lot. Saw Boudicca through the window. Got pics of her later but the light was rubbish and she’s so tiny so they weren’t that good.

Up bright and early for Bergen because, not only did I have a tour, but there were also four ships following us! Boudicca, Jewel of the Seas, Seven Seas Voyager and Oceana. Jewel passed Bouddy while Oceana overtook Voyager. I grabbed a quick breakfast after Jewel came under the bridge then was back out. I couldn’t stay for Oceana docking because the meeting time was 8.15am in the Caruso Lounge for the tour.
