Vision OTS Pre-Refit Cruise – Greenock to Southampton

I met my friend Graham, who I hadn’t seen since 2002 and we drove to Largs for a cuppa and bite to eat. It was great seeing him again as we had a catch up and reminisced about the past. Pity about the weather!

Our sailaway was at 7pm and it was still raining so I stayed in the cabin.

Dublin was next and I used the opportunity to go around the ship. Full photos are on the site so I’ll just put a few on here.

Sailaway was at 9pm when was at dinner so missed it.

We approached Cobh in fog which opened like a curtain as we got closer to the harbour entrance. After lunch, I went for a small wander as far as I was able with my back and knee.

Sailaway was 7pm and one Portuguese lady was missing. They gave the occasional blast on the ships’ horn, even as we were singling up, so I have no idea if they left without her or not. We gave three blasts as we moved off then another 6 as we sailed by the landing stage, hitting the fog again outside the harbour.
